DESCRIPTION:In Partnership with Apparent Connection\nWed\, Oct 5th\, 6-7 pm\, for parents and kids ages 11 and up \nLocation: Apparent Connection\, 360 Route 101\, Suite 3A\, Bedford\, NH \nInstructors: Debra LeClair Psy.D. & Terri Hamilton MA \nHow do you shift a household from hectic to harmonious? \nThrough mindfulness and meditation\, family members can learn to develop a non-reactive\, compassionate approach to themselves and each other. For children and teens\, tuning into the here and now improves focus and ability to deal with strong feelings like anxiety and frustration. For adults\, learning to become present can reduce stress\, enhance well-being and cultivate an ability to connect more deeply into the experience of being a parent. \nOnce of month\, a class will be offered for parents and children ages 6-10 and then another for parents and adolescents ages 11 and up. During each hour class\, kid-friendly meditation and mindfulness practices will be taught and experienced with an opportunity to ask questions in between. The goal is to help the practices become part of a family’s home life. \n 2 Family Members $20.00 \n 3 Family Members $25.00 \n 4 Family Members $30.00 \n$20 for 1 adult with 1 child/ teen\, $5 each additional family member – Registration required.
