SUMMARY:Finding Clarity and Calm under the Clutter and Cobwebs
DESCRIPTION:With Lisa Stockwell M.Ed. and Debra LeClair Psy.D. \nTues\, Jan 25th\, 6-8 pm\, online \nEach January\, we start off the new year hoping to make things better. We yearn to slow down\, but never do.  We strive for simplicity but struggle to find it. We crave balance but can’t sustain it. Underneath it all is the relentless drive towards self-improvement that falls flat because it comes from a place of judgment and not self-acceptance. \nThe aim of this workshop is to clean the cobwebs from what is already right and from there clear a path to positive and sustainable change from the inside out. This approach integrates psychology\, brain science and soul alignment practices to help support you in your intentions for 2022. \nOver the course of the workshop\, we’ll explore: \n\nIdentifying patterns that keep us stuck in the overwhelm\nGetting rid of vs. letting go of vs. letting be around the things and thoughts that get in the way of expressing our true nature and best life\nInviting in space to pause\, slow down and rest through the process\nCreating a practical mini-plan to move toward spaciousness\, simplicity and clarity\n\n$39 per person\, includes materials \n\n  \n

SUMMARY:Cultivating Your Meditation Practice: Working with Obstacles and Distractions
DESCRIPTION:Even though we often practice meditation in solitude\, it is through community that we learn to befriend our practices so that they feel like a welcome refuge and not just something else on our ‘To Do’ list. Throughout 2021\, we will be offering opportunities to discover more about meditation along with tools\, perspectives and ideas to cultivate the unification of mind\, body and soul into the routines of our lives. In March\, we’ll be working with distractions and the obstacles to meditation. That includes: \n>Why we resist our meditation\n>How to prime the body and mind for practice\n>What makes a personal meditation space inviting\n>How to work with a distracted mind \nMonday\, March 29th\, 6-7:15 pm\, $15/per person\nRegistration Closed
