Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Adapted with Debra LeClair Psy.D.

If you want to learn how to take better care of yourself while discovering a deeper sense of ease and peace of mind, and if you are willing to actively engage in your own health and well-being, we welcome your participation in our Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Adapted course (MBSR-A).

For over 35 years more than 22,000 people have completed the MBSR program originally developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn out of the Center for Mindfulness at UMASS Medical School. Full Spectrum Wellness now brings this course, modified for busy lifestyles, to Southern NH.

Mindfulness practice complements traditional medical, holistic health and psychological treatments while it also helps in prevention. MBSR specifically has benefited people reporting a variety of conditions and concerns including:

  • Stressful thoughts
  • Feeling “out of balance”
  • Depression
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Chronic illness or pain
  • High blood pressure
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Cancer
  • Heart disease
  • Asthma
  • GI issues (ex. IBS)
  • Skin ailments

Pre-registration consists of emailing your choice of orientation date (see below) to debleclair@fullspectrumwellness.com.  You will be emailed back a confirmation.

Our Next Class Dates (Part I):

“Having two small kids and making a lifestyle change has been tricky but through the MBSR courses I have learned to embrace my emotions and not judge them. As an instructor, Deb is welcoming, understanding and unbelievably great at explaining confusing/complicated topics. I really appreciate Deb’s sense of humor and down to earth nature—she makes the change accessible and doable”.
Amy S.
“The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) class teaches you to accept and not punish yourself for a failing or resistance, but to welcome it and act on it. With the skills and ideas you learn in the course, feeling angry and negative can change to being more peaceful and positive”.
Greg L.
